At our surgery in Haymarket we use the best materials available on the modern dental market, therefore ensuring our patients achieve the best possible dental results.
Is tooth whitening right for you?
If you are an individual who is suffering from yellowing of the teeth (whether this be due to excessive smoking, or the consumption of red wine, to name just a few common examples) then tooth whitening could be the ideal solution for your smile. At our surgery we use a custom made tray that fits snugly over the teeth, to apply the bleaching agent. At-home bleaching kits are also available for a more gradual whitening effect.
What to expect from the treatment process
Many of our patients may be familiar with the term ‘tooth whitening’ however they may be unsure of what to expect from the treatment process. Much like any dental treatment at our surgery, every cosmetic procedure will start with an initial consultation, during this appointment our dental team will discuss the expected treatment steps, in addition to answering any questions our patients may have.
So what happens next?
Once our team has determined with our patient that tooth whitening is the right cosmetic procedure for them, we can commence the treatment process! Their staining will initially be assessed, a custom made dental tray will be made to snugly fit the shape of their teeth, and the bleaching agent is then inserted to produce a whiter, and fresher looking smile!
